The Pierce IB2 student Maria Tourni is going to participate in the 5-member team that is going to represent Greece in the Economics Olympiad in Budapest. Maria has conquered the 6th place in the National Final and she was the first runner up from the representation team.
Fifty –five (55) students participated in the National Final. Three of them were from Pierce, and they managed to reach the top: Maria Tourni (6th). Panagiotis Bouloutas (12th) and Aggelos Dionysios Debonos (16th). Six students of our School reached the Final Round of the National Olympiad.
The Final was held on Sunday, July 3rd, for the second year. It was organized by the Center for Liberal Studies, KEFIM – Markos Dragoumis, under the auspices of the National Bank of Greece.
